Privacy & usage counts
BusyBug automatically counts page loads, changes between broad sections and actions to understand which pages and tools are useful. These automatic counts do not create visitor or session IDs, set analytics cookies, fingerprint devices or keep individual browsing histories.
Counts cover broad page categories, outing details opened, saves, provider links and advertising-enquiry links. A registered campaign label may be counted on the first page view only. Analytics counts do not include full URLs, search choices, child ages, saved-item contents, names, emails, raw IP addresses or raw user agents.
These are action counts, not unique people or families. We do not join actions into individual journeys or use them to identify returning visitors. Browser restrictions or connection problems can prevent a count from reaching us.
Previously collected optional session analytics remain separate and follow their original 90-day deletion period. New optional session events are no longer collected.
Cloudflare hosts BusyBug. Private aggregate counters are stored with Supabase in the United States (US East) and deleted after 365 days. Cloudflare and Supabase may process connection metadata separately from these application counts.
Your saved preferences and outings remain separate from analytics and are stored on this device. Your search choices are sent to the catalogue service to find matching results. Questions: info@busybug.ca.
